ENER  was hired on a design/build basis to create a waterfront  home that faithfully resembled the 19tyh century train  stations that once abounded in New England and on Long  Island, NY.—the large, bracketed overhangs being  the common architectural hallmark. The hip roof is post-and-beam  construction with stress-skin panels applied for energy  efficiency.
